Where to Start When It Comes to Writing Your First Essay Paper
Where to Start When It Comes to Writing Your First Essay Paper Essay writing, it ainââ¬â¢t no fun. Of course, if youââ¬â¢re writing about something you have a massive passion for then you could enjoy the process of getting lost in the content, but the actual structure and, of course, the deadline, could cause you some problems. Everyone struggles when it comes to writing an essay from time to time, but there are a few tricks to follow, some guidelines if you will, which will help you put together the bones of your outline, which you can then meat out with the content you know inside out ââ¬â or the content you hopefully know inside out! So, how do you start writing that paper? Itââ¬â¢s all about being organized. And a couple of other tricks. So heres what you need to do: Know Your Brief If you go off on a tangent, without truly understanding what the brief is, then youââ¬â¢re onto a losing streak from the very start. It doesnââ¬â¢t matter how good your essay content is, if you donââ¬â¢t answer the question or meet the aims of the essay brief, then youââ¬â¢re going to fail. Understand what you are being asked to do. Make Sure You Understand the Topic You need to read about the topic until you understand it completely. For instance, if youââ¬â¢re being asked to write an English Literature paper about a book, make sure you have read it, because how can you write about a subject you have flaky knowledge of? Research the Hell Out of It Knowing your topic is one thing, but youââ¬â¢re never going to know everything. Research the topic and different viewpoints attached to it. Essays need light and shade, and you need to give different arguments depending on what type of essay it is. Make an Outline for Your Essay Plan your essay, think of it as the skeleton, if that makes sense. You need the outline to give subheadings, so you know what youââ¬â¢re going to write about, and where. This makes the whole writing process easier because it breaks it down into bite-sized chunks, and also makes it easier to read, without being one long ramble that nobody really has time for, not least the person marking your final paper. Write in Sections Once youââ¬â¢ve sorted out your outline, do a section at a time. For instance, write the introduction, spell check it, re-read it, and edit it, before moving onto the next section. This makes the whole writing process much less of a long and drawn out process, because youââ¬â¢re completing a section as you go, and itââ¬â¢s almost like putting a tick in a box ââ¬â instant feel good. Make a Timetable If you feel like you simply donââ¬â¢t have enough hours in the day, itââ¬â¢s a good idea to organise your time. Draw up a timetable, e.g. on Monday you will write section 1,2,3, and on Tuesday you will write sections 4 and 5, and so on. This means that you have an idea of when your essay will be finished, and you can factor in time in case of unforeseen circumstances. Having a loose timetable is one of the best ways to cut down on stress, as the process wonââ¬â¢t seem overwhelming. And if You Need Help â⬠¦ Sometimes things happen in life and it basically throws our plans right up in the air. If this happens to you and youââ¬â¢re halfway through writing an essay, with a looming deadline, itââ¬â¢s a recipe for stress and worry. Equally, if youââ¬â¢re facing a deadline and you donââ¬â¢t have a clue how youââ¬â¢re going to complete the task, there is help at hand. Here at Essay Writing Place, we offer professional and expert essay writing services, be it a persuasive essay, a creative writing essay or some other brief which fits the bill. Plot I versus V for the resistor and the diodesc. Compare the I-V plot of the resistor with those of the diodes II. EQUIPMENTResistor, diodes, 10 volt DC power supply, voltmeter, ammeter, connecting wires III. INTRODUCTIONAn incandescent lamp consists of a metal filament made out of tungsten which is heated to a high temperature by an electric current that passes through it. The filament is enclosed in an evacuated glass envelope to avoid oxidation of the filament by the surrounding air. Most of the light emitted by an incandescent lamp is in the infrared and therefore is not visible. Incandescent lamps are inefficient light sources because only a small part of the electrical power they consume is converted into visible light. Light emitting diodes (LEDs) which are made out of semiconductor materials such as gallium arsenide (GaAs )are muc h more efficient light sources. Below we describe briefly the operating principle of these diodes. Pure semiconductors (also called ââ¬Å"intrinsicâ⬠) do not contact electricity at room temperature and are thus not useful for the fabrication of electric and electronic devices. Semiconductors conduct electricity if we dope them with a small amount of impurity atoms. In the case of Silicon (Si) these would be any atom other than Si. Impurities are divided into two broad categories: Donors and Acceptors. A donor is an impurity atom that has more electrons in its outermost shell that is necessary to form chemical bonds with their neighboring atoms. Each Silicon atom has four electrons in its outermost shell; these electrons are involved in forming the chemical bonds with the neighboring Si atoms. An Arsenic (As) atom on the other hand has 5 electrons in its outermost shell. If we add it as an impurity silicon it will act as a donor because it

This will be achieved through the following objectives: To acquire a considerable market proportion from existing market competitors To develop a good customer relationship and establish a feedback mechanism to gather the views and improve on service delivery To provide quality Services and offer after sale services such as installation of the software and timely data analysis and delivery with clear interpretation. Market Information Target market The market for the product is defined by organizations and similar entities that need the services of such information management system and to establish their trends. The target market is therefore colleges, universities, the anticorruption groups, the statistical research companies seeking opinions from various quarters of the society and news rooms (Terjesen, & Frederick, 2006). This gives an existing market of considerable potential, and with organizations seeking to update their operations by seeking opinions of employees and customers, the market is bound to grow. Market size The market is one which is growing considering the ever increasing demand for institutions to keep in line with technology and remain relevant. The need for modern quality control mechanisms is on the rise daily and institutions can only provide quality if the obtain well analyzed feedback information. Competitors In the existing market, there are two main competitors who provide electronic voting services in TV and such related applications. A and B have been the only players in the market and have shared the market in the proportion of nearly half each. Company A provides the service through modern software and is therefore fast in delivering the feedback though there are cases of errors that arise due to the high speed and the ineffiency in t heir software. To this they give an error allowance of 5% on the range of results they provide. Based on this, most customers who prefer Aââ¬â¢s services are more interested on speed while those interested in precision go for Bââ¬â¢s services. The software provided by A is cheaper compared to that of B to large economies of scale enjoyed by A over B. The company orders
(classical old)chinese literature Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1750 words
(classical old)chinese literature - Essay Example The title of the ââ¬Å"Written Crossing the Yellow Riverâ⬠sets the place as Yellow River and signals the upcoming stream of pictorial images. Indeed, both the noun ââ¬Å"riverâ⬠and the verb ââ¬Å"to crossâ⬠denote a motion and imply that the narrator sets out on a voyage. The first line begins with a noun and the narrator speaks about a define boat: the boat that he is in. The river was described as ââ¬Å"greatâ⬠. The reason of its greatness is explained in the second line as to its ââ¬Å"swollen watersâ⬠(386). It can be inferred from the second line that the weather is either extremely bad or the narrator is exaggerating the weather conditions since he describes the waters as ââ¬Å"stretched to the sky edgeâ⬠(386). We understand from the third line that the storm has just broke out. The motion is intensified and accelerated as ââ¬Å"the sky and waves split apart suddenlyâ⬠. Although it is the boat that wavered back and forth with the wav es, the narrator perceives it as if sky and waves split apart. The waves which obscured the narrator's view, now allow him to see his hometown as we can infer from the forth line. ââ¬Å"The thousands of homesâ⬠in his town appear momentarily with the ebb of the tides. In the fifth line, he shifts his focus from homes to the marketplace. The sixth line paints a bit blurry picture, since the narrator's actual perception and his imagination seems to be merged. The adverb ââ¬Å"vaguelyâ⬠signifies the blurring of perception and imagination as he contemplates mulberry and hemp displayed at the town's marketplace. Indeed, it was impossible for him to discern mulberry and hemp from that distance (if we accept the previous information that he sees the thousands of homes in that distance). However, he sees the mulberry and hemp with his mind eye or ââ¬Å"makes them outâ⬠. The one and only symbol of the poem appears when his mind shifts from the actual view to the landscape of his imagination. Indeed, the symbol of ââ¬Å"mulberry and hempâ⬠traditionally stands for China and its cultivated lands. After a momentary distraction, in the seventh line, he brings back his focus to his homeland and fixes his gaze, nevertheless it was too late. While he turned to gaze back, the town has already been disappeared with the flow of the tides. The last line brings us back to the beginning as the waters stretched to the clouds obscuring the subject's view. The last line is metaphorically linked to the second line as the verb ââ¬Å"stretchedâ⬠repeated twice in the poem. Meanwhile, ââ¬Å"the vast floodsâ⬠replaced ââ¬Å"swollen watersâ⬠and ââ¬Å"the cloudsâ⬠substituted for ââ¬Å"sky's edgeâ⬠. The ââ¬Å"vast floodsâ⬠and ââ¬Å"swollen watersâ⬠function like metaphorical curtains first covering then under-covering then covering again the view of the subject. The poet uses the ebb and flow of the tides to create an optic al illusion, which hides and then reveals his homeland. This rhythmic flow of waters reminds the fort-da (Gone! and There!) game. According to Freud, the child plays this game in order to appease his anxiety due to the absence of the mother. In this case, it is the homeland that first ââ¬Å"Gone!â⬠then ââ¬Å"Thereâ⬠againâ⬠and the subject tries to overcome his feelings of loss while he leaves his hometown behind. In fact, the rhythmic

Furthermore, the woodland period is measured as the poverty point culture. This culture was trailed by the Lake Cormorant cultures of the Tchula period. In addition, the Mississippian period was linked enormously with agricultural practices. In this era, there was the adoption of maize agriculture (Usner 8). Diplomatic history deals with the account of international relations involving states. The diplomatic research tends to be more concerned with the diplomatic age in different countries.
