Nonetheless, the commitments and shows he brings to the play and to the crowd are significant and inexhaustible. His job in the entire play can be seen from three edges. As a matter of first importance, he is most dear companion of Prince Hamlet. In all the plans, he proceeds as Hamletââ¬â¢s witness, colleague, advocate and associate. Also, Horatio soundly and shrewdly witnesses and judges key figures and occasions in the play.He has straightforwardly or in a roundabout way included all playââ¬â¢s improvements from the earliest starting point as far as possible. Thirdly, features the reliability and scholarly accomplishments of which people are skilled. Horatio joins the crowds and conveys the expectations â⬠faithfulness to kinships, discernment to human practices and future, and carrying the equity to the world. Through the character of Horatio, the key ideas and advantages of faithfulness, discernment and expectation are portrayedHoratio is Hamlet's most confided in companion as checked from the earliest starting point as far as possible of the dramatization. Through his knowledge, he relates the difficulties he and Hamlet face concerning Claudius. In the play, there are three companions for Hamlet. The other two, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, sell out Hamlet for their narrow minded (yet justifiable) advantages and locate their own last goals when they show up at England. Horatio knows Denmark Prince Hamlet from Wittenberg University in England when them two are researchers there. He comes to Denmark to join the old King, Hamletââ¬â¢s fatherââ¬â¢s burial service. Hamlet uncovers all his retribution plans to him. Horatio swears himself to top mystery about the phantom and Hamlet's affectation of frenzy to escape Claudius's. Significantly progressively significant through the mousetrap play, Horatio schemes intimately with Hamlet to demonstrate Claudius' blame. Wit h all the guaranteed trusting from the Princeââ¬â¢s letter to him, Horatio is the first to know about Hamlet's arrival from England. He is the main genuine organization when Hamlet finds Opheliaââ¬â¢s death. In the memorial park, he presents with Hamlet when they see the Yorickââ¬â¢s skull with the discussions about wonders and demise, ââ¬Å"To what base uses we may return, Horatio! For what reason may not creative mind follow the honorable residue of Alexander, till he discover it halting a bung-gap? â⬠(5. 1. 192-4). Horatio remains with Hamlet as far as possible of the disaster, as far as possible of Hamletââ¬â¢s passing, with the whole respect, devotion to companionship, he remarks to drink the ready wine to go with the Prince of Denmark: ââ¬Å"I am more an antique Roman than a Dane. /Hereââ¬â¢s yet some alcohol leftâ⬠(5. 2. 353-4).Only by the Hamletââ¬â¢s last and firm solicitation to him to keep live to recount to the majority of the story, Horati o endures himself to respect the Princeââ¬â¢s demands, and brings reality, justness and legitimacy to the world. Horatio best exhibits his discernment and good nature remarkable every single other character in the play, even the key character Hamlet starting here of view. The gatekeepers welcome him to consider the to be as their rusting to him as a sound and proficient ââ¬Å"scholarâ⬠. (1. 1. 41; 1. 5. 150) around then, this title is the most good name for the confirmations or justifications. This is much the same as these days we demand the marks from specialists, instructors or legal advisors and so forth to sign different significant reports to check our life and encounters. He reports to Hamlet and carry him to the château. With all the considerations to Hamlet, he himself gives the crowds quiet, unfaltering, normal and certain perspectives on the phantom and the old Kingââ¬â¢s story: ââ¬Å"But delicate, view, lo where it comes back once more;/Iââ¬â¢ll cross it hough it impact meâ⬠(1. 1. 25-6). By their cautious plans and usage of mouse-play, Hamlet affirms the old Kingââ¬â¢s murder.Hamlet gets extremely over energized with the affirmation. Be that as it may, with the rationalities and brains, for the best fascinating of the Prince, Horatio quiet down Hamlet of any eruptions or surge activities. To meet Hamletââ¬â¢s will, he brings himself once more from emotionality to sanity and reality as he perceives the significance to palatable Hamletââ¬â¢s solicitations to recount to the world the story. For Hamlet, Horatio is the key association, witness and judge to append and the crowds. He assists Hamlet with shaping the playââ¬â¢s consistencies. This has been obviously exhibited in the entire show. Just through the discussions among Hamlet and Horatio, could the inner parts of Hamlet show the crowds the Prince isn't generally insane or stupid however kind, sharp with irregularity and hesitations for his crucial vengeance for hi s fatherââ¬â¢s murder. On the off chance that we could state Hamlet is the feeling center of the show, we may have the option to see Horatio representing quiet, mental fortitude and graciousness of the play, even straightforwardly from Hamlet, ââ¬Å"Horatio, thou craftsmanship e'en as only a man/As e'er my discussion adapted withalâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ (3. . 50-70) At the absolute starting point of the dramatization, Horatio, with the trust of the gatekeepers, help Hamlet to meet the apparition, the old King and disclosures the messy death. Toward the finish of the play, Horatio, who saw the old Kingââ¬â¢s phantom, is companying and encouraging the withering Prince, ââ¬Å"Now breaks an honorable heart. Goodbye, sweet ruler, And trips of blessed messengers sing thee to thy rest! â⬠(5. 2. 343-4). Without Hamlet, it is difficult to have the extraordinary and feeling the high points and low points of the affection, abhor, regret, waver, courageous, courage.Without Horatio, it wou ld be very test to get the faculties of security, astuteness, reliability and discernment of person has. The play delineates the fulfillment with Horatio banding Hamlet from the beginning as far as possible with great expectations left to crowds. Of all the three significant jobs and commitments Horatio to bring to the crowds, each piece has it own uncommon commitment to the play. Desolate and reluctant Hamlet has at any rate one of closest companions â⬠trustable unsurpassed and quiet and levelheaded in any circumstances to acclimate and counsel.Horatio, truly as an astute and scholarly researcher, can push the show to the real world. His steadfast unwaveringness and basic detects lead the crowds to have the desires when things are or may turn out badly. His ideal appear in the play has carried crowd to both Hamlet and the crowds to the truth with legitimate faculties. It comes when concern is becoming about the adequacy of TV promoting guideline considering mechanical improvements in media. Concerning business thriving in the Asian market, the administration centers around providing food, attire and gadgets as their principle line of items. Gadgets incorporate products of a few and believed brands like Apple and Sony. Not exclusively does the firm advance purchasing of telephones yet in addition numerous embellishments. Conceptual Point - To investigate the impact of collaboration identified with care-giving and data trade among medical caretakers and moms corresponding to maternal pressure and maternal-baby relationship in the infant emergency unit all through the clinic remain. Foundation Mothers in the NICU experience sorrow, uneasiness, stress, and loss of control, and they vacillate between sentiments of consideration and prohibition identified with the arrangement of social insurance to their neonate. This writing survey assists with distinguishing nursing mediations that advance positive results among mother and child by decreasing maternal sentiments of stress and tension. Search Method A writing search covering the period 2008-2012 was directed. Five articles revealing both quantitative and subjective investigations comparative with the subject were recovered. Discoveries Findings uncover that positive and trustful connections among attendants and moms create when medical caretakers convey and cooperate with moms. This lightened motherââ¬â¢s nervousness and improved their certainty while associating with their infant. Conversation Critical examination just as qualities and shortcomings of the relative diaries checked on is given together with valuable proposals that rise up out of the proof. End The writing checked on shows that nurture mother connection improves mother-newborn child relationship. Thusly, this will in the long run help with diminishing maternal pressure and improve the maternal prosperity. Presentation Moms create connection to their infant during pregnancy, which proceeds and grows all the more completely after the youngster is conceived (Cleveland 2009). Be that as it may, the pathway to turning into a mother is compromised with the confirmation of the child to the NICU. This happens because of the new and scaring condition of the NICU (Obeidat et al 2009). During the underlying affirmation guardians can accept that the medicinal services group is progressively ready to think about their infant and this can ingrain sentiments of deficiency (Cockfort 2011). Thus, maternal connection might be postponed by the absence of socialization among mother and child as the majority of the consideration is finished by medical attendants (Cleveland 2009). DeRouck and Leys (2009), found that the guardians of a baby admitted to the NICU face difficulties including access to data, revelation about the analysis, treatment and anticipation of their infant, just as an absence of power over the consideration of their infant. Adding to this misery is the vulnerability of endurance or the inevitable effect of the infantââ¬â¢s condition on later wellbeing and prosperity. What's more, feeling regretful to mother an undesirable newborn child makes dread of social bias. Further, the structure of the NICU places critical obstructions on mothersââ¬â¢ capacities to order the parental job since dynamic and the day by day care of the newborn child is taken over by clinical and nursing staff limiting associations with the children peeling off their maternal position (Cleveland 2009). Actually, when children are in the NICU, customary conceptualizations of the parental job are modified. The circumstance requests uplifted parental cooperation while at the same time setting extreme limitations on parental association. Accordingly, guardians need to arrange this pressure and customary meanings of the parental job, which must be consistently reclassified all through their experience What develops is that the dominating wellspring of trouble is powerlessness of the mother to shield the baby from torment and give proper agony the executives. (Fenwick et al 2008). A ton of methods cause torment in the neonate making worries for the mother, beginning from fringe cannulas, inhabiting catheters and intubation to make reference to a couple. In intubated babies, despite the fact that morphine implantations are controlled, the child despite everything gives indications of misery during nursing times. For this situation, we control a little bolus of help with discomfort before nursing so the infant would be progressively agreeable. On the other hand, Fenwick et al (2008) depicts factors that add to parentsââ¬â¢ fulfillment in the NICU. These incorporate; confirmation and mental help, the arrangement of steady data, instruction, natural follow-up care, suitable torment the executives, and parental cooperation and nearness, just as physical and otherworldly help. Hence, it is basic that medical caretakers ought to put forth a valiant effort to improve the mothersââ¬â¢ feeling of certainty, skill and association with her baby through guided support (Domanico et al 2011). Johnson (2008) takes note of that skin-to-skin holding or kangaroo care advances maternal-newborn child sentiments of closeness, fabricates maternal certainty, and might be a pressure decreasing encounter for both the mother and baby. Henceforth the significance of giving the chance to kangaroo care to happen. Chase (2008), takes note of that KMC is likewise essential to balance out parameters, for example, cardio-respiratory parameters while being useful for keeping up internal heat level. They include that even the occurrence of nosocomial sepsis and the term of medical clinic remain diminished with rehearsing KMC. What's more, Ali et al., (2009), found that Kangaroo mother care additionally indicated positive results towards rehearsing restrictive breastfeeding. Cockfort (2011) noticed that, coherence of care should be guaranteed henceforth the significance of documentation. Accordingly, it is proposed that handover ought not be hurried, while an increasingly far reaching handover can guarantee the smooth progress of care for staff and the family. At the point when guardians pose inquiries identifying with their child they feel guaranteed in the competency of staff when data has been passed on accurately. At the point when data isn't shared adequately guardians can lose trust and the association separates. In Malta, despite the fact that handover of 2 back to back days is given, clashing counsel is as yet given on occasion due to the nursesââ¬â¢ diverse view-focuses. Thusly, this requires ward gatherings so as to explain significant issues so exhortation given and practice is predictable. In Malta, around 373 children are conceded yearly (Grech et al 2012). Considering the advantages talked about, medical attendants ought to do their most extreme to improve the general understanding of the moms of such infants. Search Method An audit of distributed research comprised of the accompanying advances; wide perusing to decide territories of center, recognizable proof of incorporation and avoidance standards, writing search (addendum 1) and recovery, basic examination and investigation of the exploration proof and union of proof. Proof was evaluated with the points of distinguishing hindrances that influence the motherinfant communication inside the neonatal emergency unit how attendants can effectively bolster connection. Articles were incorporated if the setting was fundamentally in a neonatal emergency (unit or neonatal emergency unit) the members were moms of newborn children admitted to neonatal escalated care units or attendants working inside that setting. Also, All articles were fundamentally dissected in light of two essential inquiries: (a) What are the requirements of guardians in the NICU? (b) What nursing practices bolster guardians in addressing these necessities? Articles were additionally includ ed in the event that they were essential research contemplates distributed somewhere in the range of 2008 and 2012 and written in the English language. Essential and auxiliary writing look were led through the EBSCO, ERIC, Sciencedirect and Medline databases. The essential hunt terms included ââ¬Å"NICU,â⬠ââ¬Å"Neonatal Intensive Care Unit,â⬠ââ¬Å"family support,â⬠ââ¬Å"communication,â⬠ââ¬Å"nurseâ⬠and ââ¬Å"early intervention.â⬠The optional writing search terms included ââ¬Å"nursing support,â⬠ââ¬Å"efficacy,â⬠ââ¬Å"family,â⬠ââ¬Å"communication,â⬠ââ¬Å"supportâ⬠, ââ¬Å"neonatalâ⬠and ââ¬Å"Kangaroo Mother Careâ⬠. These terms were utilized and used in every single imaginable blend to play out a broad writing search of the previously mentioned electronic databases. Thirdly, an audit of references was led of the distinguished articles for any further examinations. Eighteen articles were found through the pursuit. Six examinations met the consideration standards of which, 3 were subjective and 3 quantitative (reference section 2). The subject was co nstrained to the most recent 5 years. This time period helps in the getting the latest encounters since NICU is a changing situation particularly as respects to innovation which impacts the moms just as the medical attendants. Both quantitative and subjective examinations were found. Both subjective and quantitative research was directed to recognize what is thought about the necessities of NICU guardians and what practices bolster these guardians. The two techniques for explore were incorporated on account of the potential for each to add to a progressively complete comprehension of this subject. In choosing an examination structure, analysts ought to be guided by one larger thought: regardless of whether the plan does the most ideal activity of giving dependable responses to the exploration questions. One needs to take note of that the two investigations have constraints (Cottrell McKenzie, 2011). In quantitative research, the researcherââ¬â¢s point is to decide the connection between one variable (a free factor) and another (a ward or result variable) in a populace (Morrow 2009). As opposed to quantitative structures, subjective plans don't bring about numerical information for factual investigation (Schira, 2009). In subjective strategies, analysts are keen on deciphering social wonders and investigating the implications that individuals append to their encounters (Polit and Beck 2010). There were anyway some waiting irregular characteristics in the worldwide economy related with the rising twin shortfalls in the United States, a postponed recuperation in Europe, combined with high and unpredictable oil costs, and inquiries regarding the way of Chinas economy that may establish dangers to the pace of development in creating nations over the medium term. Universes monetary development is probably going to back off in 2005 with an anticipated pace of 3.2%. A few variables are probably going to add to the more slow development. This writing embodies the peak of calligraphy. He helped develop various forms of calligraphy such as the regular script, cursive and semi cursive script that continue to influence many generations in China and beyond. His scripts influenced the tiexue or the model-book school of calligraphy. This essay examines the life of Wang Xizhi and his achievements in developing calligraphy during his time. The essay further explores Wangs influence on other artists and generation. This includes his influence on contemporary teaching and learning of calligraphy in China. Wang Xizhi is regarded the most famous calligrapher of his time in China. He is usually referred to as the Saint of Calligraphy.Wang Xizhi was skilled in various forms of calligraphy. He adopted the cursive script from Zhang Z hi, while the standard script was modeled after Zhong You. He developed under the tutelage of Madame Wei. The Wang family fled to south China to help form the Eastern Jin dynasty (317-419) at the time when the Western Jin dynasty disintegrated. In the Eastern Jin, Wang Xizhi served as Youjun or General of the Right Army. Wang Xizhi also became the governor of Kuaji in later years. At this time, he hosted scholars to a poetry gathering at Orchid Pavilion (the Lanting). He wrote one of the most celebrated works in Chinese calligraphy called Lantingji xu (Preface of the Orchid Pavilion Gathering, a semi-cursive script (Li 2009). Figure 1 below shows the Lanting. Figure 1: Preface to the collection of Orchid Pavilion Poems (Yu-ho1993) Wang Xizhi belonged to the Wang Clan that was known for its artistic skills. He became interested in calligraphy at the age of seven. Afterwards, he developed his own style from the inspiration and observation of several things. These include observing the neck of the geese and orienting his hand the same way. Wang Xizhi is believed to have produced more than 1000 works but none of them survived. Therefore, most of his work was merely available in form of copies. Most of Wangs works were regular script calligraphy. Wang Xizhi developed a new natural and liberated style in calligraphic theory which consisted of continuous strokes (Huang 2008). Wang Xizhi formulated twelve rules on the art of calligraphy while teaching his son, Wang Xianzhi. In writing of the standard script of calligraphy (kaishu), Wang emphasized twelve doctrines. Following the doctrines would lead to the formation of a standard to help in producing marvelous calligraphy. Therefore, Wang believed that calligraphy would be a process that could be taught, understood and replicated. Some of his other script works include; Shen Jiao Xu, Huang Ting Jing, Yue Yi Lun, , Chu Yue Tie and Shi Qi Tie (Zhuzhong and Desheng 2001). The regular script of calligraphy was formed from the clerical script and was initially practiced in the post-Han period. The script involved combining various single strokes to form visible and proportionally balanced legible characters. Wang Xizhis regular script consists of complex and most refined forms compared to any Chinese calligraphy script. Moreover, the regular script was perfected in the Tang Dynasty while still being used in the present. In addition, Wang Xizhis regular script was the first calligraphy script to be taught in Chinese schools. This script is used as a typeface for various contemporary printed materials. Wang Xizhi was very inventive and did more than just put his personal imprint on a form of calligraphy. The regular script shows that Wang wanted to generate unique pieces of art forms. Consequently, the regular script became extraordinarily aesthetic (Barrass 2002, p. 19-22). Wang Xizhis scripts are easily distinguished because of their light fluidity of the brush strokes. In his scripts, there wa s a fine balance, which was achieved when the brush strokes made beautiful composition of a piece of art. Another distinguishing factor of Wangs scripts is diversity. Diversity is portrayed when Wang changed the form of his script but retained the style in cases where he had to utilize the same character more than once in a single piece. The scripts of Wang Xihzi were very bold, masculine and patent because of his technique of using the brush. In addition, the rounded strokes of his script were quick and easy to write. Wang showed that good regular scripts could be formed by those who held their brushes correctly. Moreover, he emphasized that good regular scripts could only be made by those who possessed good moral attitude. Therefore, Wang Xizhis calligraphy was a reflection of the moral quality of the society (Barrass 2002, p. 21-24). Wang Xizhi was born in the Jin dynasty that was the basis of Chinese art. The Jin dynasty was divided into north China and south China. This meant that calligraphy, at the time, was split into two. The northern China calligraphy used tablets with regular characters, while in southern China, regular scripts were put on paper. Wang utilized novices in his work to gain insight. He therefore, became an exceptional calligrapher full of innovative styles (Zhuzhong Desheng 2001, p.104). The figures below show Wang Xizhis regular script and the traditional tablet-style calligraphy. Figure 2: Wang Xizhi, Regular Script (Tingyou 2001) Fig 3: Tablet style (Tingyou 2001) Wang Xizhis work was regarded as high forms of genuine art that would not be imitated. Wangs calligraphy used short casual letters that were of high validity, calligraphic value and more historical content. Even though Wang Xizhis original scripts did not survive, many of his notes have been found. The notes were retrieved and stored inform of engravings, rubbings and tracing copies. The notes contained communicative messages to his family and friends. Further more, the notes, which are the basis of the regular script, are elaborated with outstanding topicality. According to Ritcher (2011, p.370), it is important to note that Wang Xizhis scripts were formed to accomplish a genuine communicative role. The moral virtues and great personality of Wang Xizhi were illustrated in his script work. Wangs unique calligraphy is noted by the thickness of the brush strokes and accentuated structure of the characters. His artistic method and prowess of scripting shows an elusive artist who reassesses his artistic outlook by influencing other artists in Japan and China. Therefore, Wang Xizhi was able to achieve an elevated standing in the history of art (Fu Shen 1998, p.17-20). The scripts of Wang Xizhi demonstrate that he was a master of all the five styles of calligraphy in China namely seal, clerical, standard, cursive and semi-cursive. Successive generations of artists and emperors continued to gather Wangs work at the imperial court thus showing that he was an influential person in calligraphy. It is at the very imperial court that many skilled artists were hired to reproduce Wang Xizhis works (Huang 2008, p. 50). Wang Xizhis calligraphy is also praised because of the vibrant rhythmic energy, variation and impulsiveness it exudes. The overall space used and the inner creation of characters in his regular script are highly desirable. In China, the regular script, developed by Wang, was a form of art, which was strongly linked to the literate elite. A few aristocrats, such as Wangs family, made individual writing styles to express their inner self. These individualized calligraphy also distinguished them socially from the rest of society (Barass 2002, p. 22). Wang Xizhis calligraphy influenced many artists throughout various generations. The regular script helped people achieve an expression of his original work and understand the real form of his true character. In emperor of the Tang dynasty called Taizong was inspire d by the scripts of Wang Xizhi. He ordered that he be buried with one of Wangs calligraphy piece. Before his death, Taizong promoted Wangs style of writing to the extent that the style became an abiding tradition within the Tang dynasty. Taizon used Wangs style as a tool to unify his empire (Haung 2008). The Lantingji xu (Preface of the Orchid Pavilion Gathering) is regarded as one of the greatest masterpiece of calligraphy in Chinese history. This and many works have influenced many upcoming artists in China and beyond. Emperor Li Shiming adored Wangs scripts. The emperor collected almost all of Wangs calligraphy scripts. He then ordered a monk called Huani Ren to identify characters from Wangs scripts, combine them into entirely different work by embossing the characters on a tablet. Since none of Wangs original work was ever found, the emperors tablet is very significant in an attempt to study Wangs calligraphy (Fu Shen 1997, p.10-13). Another calligrapher influenced by Wang Xiz his work was Zhao Mengfu. Mengfu studied Wangs sc... In many cases, they become rude due to lack of attention. Additionally, one may lack discipline due to so much attention from their parents. Psychologists understand that an individual may take advantage of the care given to them by their guardians and start misbehaving since they know that their parents will not be keen on correcting them. Teenagers experience these problems as a result of peer pressure. The actions hurt the grades and the academic performance. Most of them, however bright, start to decline in their performance. Several ways exist to address these problems. One of the ways is by making sure that the community partners with the education system to make sure that all the problems are addressed. According to Bezzina (2006), the players should collaborate and create solutions that help the students to improve. It is important to analyze the importance of creating such partnerships and how the impact on the study. Using a case study, the paper aims to critically analyze why and how the collaborations help the teenagers problems. Case Study Analysis Partnerships are paramount in making sure that special education succeeds. One of the important types of connections is the teacher to teacher partnership. A teacher is in charge of each student on their caseload. This incorporates the duty to execute understudy accommodation as well as the obligation to guarantee the accomplishment of the student objectives. This objective is made less demanding through a custom curriculum partnership (Elton-Chalcraft, Cammack Harrison, 2016). Despite the fact that they stay aware of the paperwork for the pupil, all teachers are both in charge of the students in the classroom. The teen in the case study, for example, could be helped through such partnerships and the problem identified. Acting as a group, building up an arrangement for the understudy and keeping correspondence open are approaches to work together and enable the students to succeed. A graduate degree in a specialized curriculum could give a trainer diverse thoughts and methodologies that they can execute with a general instruction to enable these students to prevail in class. In some instances, the teachers may be educators with a general education, which includes going into the classroom and assisting with the specialized curriculum students. According to Bezzina (2006), this is the ideal time to act as a group and enable the entire class to be more effective. For instance, they may instruct a small group while the general training educator focuses on whatever is left of the class. According to Willems Gonzalez-DeHass, (2012) this system may rely on the general training instructors solace level with their coordinated effort, if they convey and cooperate, this approach can bring about two educators uniting the entire class as opposed to disengaging the students. Another type of collaboration is among the teachers and the students. Each school year, new students at different specialized schools, and join the teachers caseload. A few schools let custom educators keep similar students every year until they leave the school because the instructor builds up a cosy relationship with the students together with their relatives. A few schools may allot an alternate caseload every year. According to Bezzina (2006), it is vital to becoming more acquainted with the understudies needs as well as their identities. Specialized curriculum understudies in higher evaluations will be a piece of their training choices in the individualized education program (IEP) groups and have a say in discourses in regards to facilities and future arranging. This specialized curriculum cooperation with these more established students is essential since it can allow them to have some duty regarding their instruction and besides their objectives and activities. Collaborating and understanding specialized curriculum students is additionally imperative with regards to conduct. If someone is working with a particularly troublesome student, at that point taking in their triggers and building up an arrangement to help hold their conduct within proper limits is essential. This regularly requires some serious energy and requires conversing with the student to build up an arrangement so the student can stay in the classroom and remain centred. Teaming up with the parents is also an essential plan. According to Bezzina (2006), regardless of the possibility that everything is by all accounts going admirably at a school, parents of a student in a special learning program can now and again be a test. These guardians can be scary, yet it is imperative from the earliest starting point to guarantee the guardians that they are here to enable their understudy to succeed. This requires joint effort and consistent correspondence. Gross, Haines, Hill, Francis, Blue-Banning Turnbull, (2015) indicates that the guardians must consent to the IEP for their student, yet this should not be the main time in the year they discuss the students advance in school. Teaming up with the Guardians is likewise an approach to get thoughts regarding what could help the student in the classroom, and someone can share procedures for achievement that they can use in the studentââ¬â¢s more extensive life. Partnerships in special education may not have an obvious effect overnight, and many general training instructors appreciate the self-sufficiency of settling on their choices in their classroom. If all gatherings, including the students and parents, are ready to share thoughts and techniques, at that point the student could be making a course for effective instruction (Elton-Chalcraft, Cammack Harrison, 2016). The broad quest for organizations and shared connections is among the most critical patterns in group improvement (Price-Mitchell, 2009). Regardless of whether it is cooperation among nearby institutions or endeavours to unite different groups of neighbourhood inhabitants, group associations are perceiving the significance of partnerships for using assets, building power, reinforcing the just procedure, and accomplishing important community change. Within the community sorting out and advancement fields, discourses about association fabricating regularly concentrate on figuring out which occupants should be incorporated into the organization and how to get these partners on board. Nonetheless, conveying accomplices to the table is just the initial phase in the community procedure (Price-Mitchell, 2009). Similarly essential is the manner by which the association will be organized once it is framed. Gross, Haines, Hill, Francis, Blue-Banning Turnbull, (2015) indicates that the structure can profoundly affect an institutionss prosperity. According to Willems Gonzalez-DeHass, (2012) the society building associations frequently trust that with a specific end goal to make a comprehensive, formal structure ought to be kept to a base. Therefore, they use open and adaptable procedures instead of creating express and enforceable rules for collaboration. This inclination toward structurelessness adds to numerous issues that every time torment group based organizations. According to Gross, Haines, Hill, Francis, Blue-Banning Turnbull, (2015), they include troubles pulling in and holding a financially and racially assorted enrollment, reliance of the gathering on a little modest group of leaders, and correspondence issues among individuals. In organizations among differing people, structureless groups and open-finished basic leadership forms have a tendency to be commanded by a vocal minority, frequently leaving whatever is left of the group feeling underestimated or prohibited. According to Bezzina (2006), this makes it especially troublesome for structureless gatherings to pull in and hold low-wage members. In many groups, an absence of express structure implies that exclusive those individuals who feel great talking will do as such. It is not so much that low-salary individuals have nothing to state, people simply feel that they do not have an option. In partnerships with all the players, the absence of formal structure weakens shared responsibility and limits the potential for important collaboration. Without enforceable guidelines of cooperation, hierarchical associations regularly appear as free systems instead of utilitarian coordinated efforts (Elton-Chalcraft, Cammack Harrison, 2016). Turf fights, the absence of trust, and rivalry for financing make associations unwilling to completely focus on possibly beneficial organizations unless common responsibility is guaranteed through some express and lucid structure. The formal structure makes a protected space in which members can build up their administration aptitudes, their capacity to characterize and verbalize their perspectives, and their feeling of important association in the group. Gross, Haines, Hill, Francis, Blue-Banning Turnbull, (2015) indicates that the structure likewise guarantees that individuals fabricate shared a regard for each other while gaining from each others viewpoints. Teachers are unique players in the society. According to Bezzina (2006), they are in charge of the training of societys childhood. They are likewise in charge of guaranteeing that the studentââ¬â¢s under their care are found in the best, protected and empowering learning condition. If they cannot secure this, instructors can be sued for carelessness (Price-Mitchell, 2009). They have an obligation of care towards their understudies, and if this is sold out, at that point educators have a duty to confront the outcomes. Educators need information in their classroom. It is a legal and ethical need They must be completely mindful of all learning, behavioural and medicinal issues that could happen and are capable of being prepared to manage anything that may happen (Elton-Chalcraft, Cammack Harrison, 2016). They should know about any meds that might be required and how to oversee them, and besides any support benefits that a students might be profiting. Teachers are mindful to all students similarly. Gross, Haines, Hill, Francis, Blue-Banning Turnbull, (2015) indicates that while some learners may benefit from their consideration all the more frequently, an educator is in charge of them no pretty much than they are in charge of those who do not require their consideration. If an instructor does not act as needs be to all students, their obligation of care and their duties to all have been encroached upon, and the school experts are in charge of managing this. A teacher has duties to their students and the groups of these learners. Learners are required to secure and look after their students as the guardians of these learners would. They have an obligation of care owed to their students. The remaining of in loco parentis has been connected to instructors (Elton-Chalcraft, Cammack Harrison, 2016). They have the rights and duties of a parent while the understudy in under their care. This is a correlation just, as it is superseded to some degree by the way that educators are government labourers. Notwithstanding, in a few ranges, this correlation of instructor to sensible parent exists and is the standard. From this, educators have numerous lawful and good rights and obligations. One of these is the privilege to lead warrantless ventures. According to Bezzina (2006), educators are the main expert gatherings with this privilege. According to Willems Gonzalez-DeHass, (2012) it is perceived by the courts that educators and understudies have an uncommon relationship. It is a connection that is much the same as that of guardians and kids (Elton-Chalcraft, Cammack Harrison, 2016). Educators must have the capacity to shield their learners from perils and should have the capacity to do whatever it takes to give a sheltered school condition while keeping up request and train in their school. Teachers likewise have the privilege to suspend learners from their class, if they consider the suspension justified. Gross, Haines, Hill, Francis, Blue-Banning Turnbull, (2015) indicates that this is another way that instructors can cultivate the learning condition for many of their students, by evacuating the individual who is causing issues in the classroom and diverting from any discovering that may be occurring. Instructors have the duty to cultivate a relationship of trust (Elton-Chalcraft, Cammack Harrison, 2016). While they have the privileges of a parental figure, they should likewise attempt to empower the relationship that a youngster would have with this parental figure. Instructors are capable lawfully and ethically for their students prosperity and care. They are dependable to guarantee that each student in their care gets quality learning. Instructors additionally have the duty to secure their students if they know that any damage may come to them. According to Bezzina (2006), if an instructor could have sensibly predicted an occasion and did not follow up on it, they are legitimately obligated for the harms that happened. For instance, if an instructor realizes that two of their students want to razz a third, they are legitimately in charge of any harms that may result, as they knew before the reality of what would happen (Price-Mitchell, 2009). If the instructor had not known about the arrangement of the two understudies, they could not be considered in charge of the harms. Educators additionally have a duty towards students that they are managing in exercises. Educators ought to be qualified in the exercises over which they assume responsibility. Gross, Haines, Hill, Francis, Blue-Banning Turnbull, (2015) indicates that the organization of a school assumes liability for exercises which it supports. According to Willems Gonzalez-DeHass, (2012) instructors have an obligation towards their students to guarantee that they are readied and ready to deal with any issues that may happen when they are directing a movement. If a movement requires unique preparing or skills, the educator has a duty to guarantee that they have this skill. Otherwise, it could demonstrate perilous for the students included. A teacher has the duty, by law, to report any doubts of mishandling. From this, it can be taken that educators are in charge of announcing any mishandling of a child that they think. According to Bezzina (2006), they have a duty past educating the main of their school. They are in charge of revealing the abuse to a delegate of the wellbeing administrations. In any case, after they have detailed this abuse, they are not allowed to contact the guardians in respects interviews with the kid that may happen on this matter. In conclusion, the analysis portrays the importance of partnerships in education. The teenager problems are some of the main issues in education. Young people have many issues that impact negatively on their academic performance. Other students may bully each other which also makes those that are bullied develop a fear factor. By partnering with the community, each player gets actively involved in making sure that the activities of the student are monitored. The teacher to teacher relationship helps all teachers to share the thoughts and observations of a student group. Good teacher-student relationships help to make the learners open-minded, and all the problems can be identified and addressed. The parents are also key players and should be having a good relationship with the school. The analysis, therefore, helps to critically analyze the importance of partnerships by key players in the education sector. Take a step into the tragic period between the 1940s and ââ¬â¢60s and imagine how prevalent racism was at the time. In a historic period during the Civil Rights movement and even later, how would we portray racism within America? Was it in its beginning stages? Or had it hit its highest point? Itââ¬â¢s commonly known that racism was at its height around these intimidating moments. However, when compared to racism in America this last decade, have we really made any progress? Although much has changed about racism, from our laws to our rights, the educational system, along with the justice system, serve as clear examples in revealing the negative effects of racism and discrimination that continue to heavily influence our nation. In the middle of the 1900s, law enforcement maintained a clearly racist perspective on those of color. Backed by the Jim Crowââ¬â¢s laws, the chances of racial profiling and discrimination were awfully hig h. Undoubtedly, there was a smaller sense of pity as it became a common mindset throughout the nation. In fact, the right to maintain fully segregated facilities werenââ¬â¢t even considered inherently unequal at the time (Densho). Americans have paid a heavy price financially. The drug enforcement budget is now $40 billion. A lot of time, effort, and money go into Americaââ¬â¢s attempt in eliminating trafficking, dealing, and the use of illegal drugs. Many believe that this is a war worth fighting, while others feel that America will never conquer the war on drugs. In fact, addictions to morphine were largely due to lack of knowledge on the drug. The addiction was the result of accidental use and insufficient information on its effects. Drug addictions were increasing and something had to be done to help the situation. The Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906 was the single most effective law passed to help alleviate the effects of improper drug use. The Act accomplished three things: 1) It created the Food and Drug Administration in Washington that must approve all foods and drugs meant for human consumption. The very first impact of that was that the patent medicines were not approved for human consumption once they were tested. 2) The Pure Food and Drug Act said that certain drugs could only be sold on prescription. 3) The Pure Food and Drug Act requires that any drug that can be potentially habit- forming say so on its label. Warning -- May be habit forming. These three requirements on drug use and distribution greatly decreased the amount of people that formed accidental addictions. The Act continues to stand as the law that made the most impact on the drug addiction population. The fight against the use of drugs started a long time ago, but as the years went on America experienced a more intense battle with the widespread use of illegal drugs. Why? The fall of the Western Roman Empire is a very broad topic because there were a multitude of continuous events that led to the disappearance of one of the most legendary empires of the world. The seemingly unstoppable Roman Empire would fall due to the fact that many aspects that made Rome such a dominant empire began to fade. Rome was the center of the world and the thought that such a power in the world could decrease was outstanding. It was not built in a day; therefore, it could not be destroyed in a day. The dominating city declined for many reasons but there are only a few principal reasons that led to the cities decline. The political problems, economicâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦One of the many things that had to be the political honour was very risky and often political figures of the time and emperors have died because of strips of people who do not like what they were doing, decadence, people have lost faith and hope in their emperors. Slavery is one of the biggest economic factors that brought the empire to its knees. Slavery is what has kept the rich from the poor. The rich who established gigantic profitable areas were enriched and the farmers could not remain competitive and was forced to join up as a sharecropper or move to the city, adding to unemployment, by peasants moving to the city, the city gets more and more crowded and epidemics arise more often. Another aspect that brought the Western Roman Empire to their knees, was the army. The Roman Empires army turned into German mercenaries. Mercenaries cost a lot of money because they had to keep the vast empires residents safe. The money that was spent for the mercenaries was to be financed, so taxes were raised. With the Roman Empire in a phase of despair barbarian tribes took advantage and started to invade the once colossal empire. Clans ravaged the fallen empire and fought each other for territory. At one time the population having a common religion was a very important factor that kept the Romans united. Once the right of freedom to worship was denied, Rome became an empire full of anger and rage. You should also give an overview of the country in which you intend to market it and outline the reasons behind your choice. Task 2 You are required to carry out research relevant to the first stages of the marketing planning process. You must then evaluate your research and present it in report format. For Assignment 1, you are only required to present your findings based on the first three elements of the SOSTAC model. Answers: Task 1 Key element and background of the product A Coffee Kiosk business at the US US market is one of the fastest-growing markets of the world. So in this market there is huge opportunity to launch new products or services. The name of the new business will be The Daily Caf. It is a beverage store that mainly provides hot and cold beverages and specialized in custom blended teas and specialty coffees. Beside these two products, it also provides domestic soft drinks, baked pastries, and other confections. Occasionally this will provide some added beverage like frozen coffee, hot chocolate or more. The Daily Caf (TDC) provides a drive through facility or mobile cafes to its customers. It has the ability custom different orders of blended items as per the customer specification. The staffs of the TDC will be trained in blending, brewing and serving the good quality of cold and hot beverages by keeping the requirement of the consumers in mind. It will penetrate the daily as well as the captive consumers in the most accessible areas. Also the company will provide a goo d quality product and services to ensuring customer loyalty. The company is also planning to make a charity of 9% of their revenues in charitable institutions as per the choice of the consumers. The financial plan for the company is quite good. The business is mainly operated by cash so the initial or startup costs will be much less than any other start-up business. Moreover, the company has to incur a huge cost because it has to hire some people who have skill and knowledge in coffee and tea blending activity (Borzoni and Poole, 2011). It will play the role as a retail coffee house industry. Coffee is the widely used beverages around the world. The whole coffee market at the US is segmented into three areas grower, retailers, and rosters. The world largest coffee producing country was Brazil as per the report published in 2012.From a statistic, it is found that American consumers spend 21.32 USD on coffee per week on an average. Over the past few years, this product is becoming ver y popular among the consumers and the US coffee market has occupied almost 50 percent market share all over the world. If the retail level sales is considered then it is found that the coffee retail business at the US took the largest share of 36 percent of retail sales. All these above mentioned factors are the main reason for selecting the product and the country as it seems to have enough opportunity to grow (Villaln-Soler, E,2010).. Task 2 Situational and Environmental analysis Mission statement for the company The business The Daily Caf has segregated its mission statement into three phases, the Economic Mission, the Community Mission, and the Product Mission. The Economic mission includes growth through effective operations and by taking sound economic decisions. Product mission involves providing good quality and finest beverage in most efficient time. Community mission is to create an environment of customer support by involving customers in various activities (Business plans that work,2011). Key trends in the market- There are several areas or key aspect that is useful for the business to develop. Some of these are mentioned below- The suitable locations- high traffic pattern, convenient access, and visibility. The friendliness of servers- The servers will be very professional, cheerful, articulate and skilled. The best quality of products- Cleanest equipment, Fresh coffee beans, consistent flavor. The reputation- if the company can provide the services as per the consumer choice then it will not be very difficult to build their reputation in the market. The promotion can be made by word of mouth advertising, the donation in the charitable institutions etc (Sherlekar, S. and Gordon, E,2010). PESTLE analysis PESTLE framework is the analysis of the external and internal environmental factors on the company that includes the identification of Political, Environmental, Social, Technological, Economical and Legal factors. The following table represents the PESTLE analysis for The Daily Caf. Political factors The stability of the US government The relationship between coffee beans producers and the US government. Rules and regulations for the coffee industry. Environmental factors Disasters of the environment in coffee bean producing countries. Rules and regulations relating to the environment. Global warming and other alarming issues. Social factors Population patterns in the US. Change in consumers tastes and preference. Changing working patterns. Changing the life style of the consumers. Technological factor The Introduction of the latest technology. Development in agriculture of coffee. Economical Factors The level of taxation. Consumers buying power. The local rate of currency exchange. Legal factors Licensing regulation related to this industry. Polices and regulations of the health authorities relating to the consumption of caffeine. Political factors the countries of Africa and Latin America produces coffee beans that can be imported for the business. The international relationship between the US and those countries provide the company a good opportunity to market their products. Each and every coffee bean importers has to register them with the FDA authority. There are also some federal regulations in the country that affects the coffee business, but it does not have any adverse effect. Moreover, the US government is in a stable position (Dess, G,2012). Environmental factors- these factors provide a challenging situation for the company. Now days there are many preservation rules that US country is following for coffee production. So the company has to follow those rules. It may cause some reduction in the profitability, but as all these are the part of the social responsibility so the business will follow the relevant rules in to sustain in the market (Reinecke, J., Manning, S. and von Hagen, O,2012). Social factors- the change in the preferences and lifestyle among US consumers has a positive impact on the business of The Daily Caf. This business uses the technology of mobile caf and mainly selling their products through Kiosk so it will be more convenient for the consumers as they can get it any time they want (Woodman, P,2008). Technological factors- this is another factor that proves to be challenging for the company. The latest innovation of coffee making process and the agricultural activities improve the market of the coffee business. The competitors of the coffee market already have some competitive advantage in this area so the company has to spend more money in this segment and should concentrate on continuous research and development (Business plans that work, 2011). Economical factors- it is the most important factor for a business that need to be considered. US economy had faced a market crisis in 2008-2009 which adversely affected almost all industries. Coffee producing companies were not excluded from that situation. The positive thing that can be mentioned about the economy of the US is the buying power of the consumers is in growing trend and an average American drinks almost 3.1 cups coffee per day. Almost $ 9 billion revenue is collected from the coffee industry. So the economic factors have a positive impact on the Coffee Kiosk business (Ramachandra, K., Chandrashekara, B. and Shivakumar, S,2010). Legal factors- there are some new rules and regulations that have introduced in the US and create some impact on the coffee business. The Safety Modernization Act revised the fees for the coffee importers, and it is mentioned that the quality must be checked before it is used for the consumption (Hill, C. and Jones, G,2012). SWOT analysis SWOT analysis is a tool that is used for analyzing the opportunities, threats, strength and weakness of an organization. It is a best evaluation technique to know the current position as well as the future prospective of the company. Following is the key factors which represent the SWOT of the company- Strengths The business is based on the mobile kiosk technology so it gets the advantage of suitable locations for attracting the consumers. The business is fulfilling has a valid copy right, trade mark, and logo. It is operated in a retail store, and it does not have any franchises, so it is very easy to control and operate. The employees are skilled and motivated. The Daily caf have used a well-established technology. The structural design of the mobile vans is very much convenient for sale the products. The product is socially acceptable by all consumers. The coffee industry at the US is one of the leading industries in the world (Prud'homme, A,2008). The variety of products and their acceptable quality is the main strength for the business. Weaknesses The size of the business is not very large as it is in initial stage. The number of competitors in this market is growing. There is a lack of financial resource availability. The implementation of new technology requires extra cost that may be burdensome for the company (Pitt, M. and Koufopoulos, D,2012). Opportunities The emerging coffee market in the US. Each American consumes almost 3.1 cups coffee per day. The innovation of agricultural activities and development of new technologies. The company is willing to introduce seasonal products that give them the benefit of product diversification. The annual growth of the coffee industry is almost 3.2% a year, and it is predicted that this growth will continue for the next five years. The cost of coffee beans is becoming low so the company can able to import it at a low cost. The demand for the new type of product and services are increasing in the US market. All people are now running with the time. So they require readymade food items for consumption. As this business provides the product in a very convenient way as per the specifications of the consumers, it can be the opportunity for the business to grow in the US market (Howard, P. and Jaffee, D. (2013).. Threats The main threat of this area is the threat from its competitors. The Daily Caf will be the first double sided drive through the coffee house in the metropolitan area. Still it has some significant competitors from the retailers and traditional coffee houses. Some of their competitors are- The national chains The leader of the national chain store is the Starbucks, which has almost 10000 retail outlets all over the US (Jacobs, M. (2008). Local caf The other main competitors of the daily caf are the locally owned cafes. They have a strong customer base, and the quality of the product is so high they can suppress any brand. The Daily Caf believes that in spite of having this strong competition they will able to get the competitive advantage for the following reasons- Mobile Cafes Drive through services. More convenient customer service. Community benefit. The other threat can be the obsolescence of technology and sudden change of consumer preferences. Objectives Each and every business activity must have some objective. On the basis of the objectives the strategy is formulated and the company performs accordingly to reach the destination. The Daily caf has also established three objectives which it want to achieve within the next three years (Hudson, I. and Hudson, M. (2009). Objective1. Fifteen drive thru locations and five fully booked mobile caf for the next three years. For achieving this objective, the company makes a detailed analysis of the market trend and locations which will be suitable for operation. At present, the company is operating with three drives thru location and has only one fully booked caf. Objective2. The company wants to achieve a gross margin of 40% and net profit after tax above 16% of sales or at the end of three years. For this, the company first make an industry forecast. The business is operated by the company in the metropolitan areas which are having the population of more than 150000 people. The balance sheet estimation of the company shows that if it operates in fifteen locations then the estimated cash balance will be $ 823,526, and the earnings will be $960,846. The balance sheet forecast shows that if the company operates in the same way as it is projected then the net worth will be approximate $ 1,025,468. At present, the same type of companies is trading in multiples of five to ten times of earning. So will not be an unrealistic assumption to estimate the earnings and the cash flow on the same basis (Kotler, P. and Keller, K,2012).. Objective3. To reach a wide range of consumers and established a brand image In order to achieving this objective, the business has initiated several loyalty programs for the consumers. It has also planned to contribute a portion of their revenue to the charitable institutions. They have also ensured to provide a quality service at a low price (Lynch, R,2012). All the above objectives are formulated as the part of the SMART objective rule as these are Strategies adopted by the business Strategies are the tactics which that can be used for attaining the objectives. The management of The Daily Caf has formulated different strategies to achieving the goals. Promotional strategy: This is the most important portion of the strategy formulation as the future success of a business to a large extend depend on this strategy. The business is planning to spend $1000 per month for public relations in the next year in order to generate awareness among the public (Marshall, G. and Johnston, M,2010). It gives advertisement through different media especially on TV and radios. The company is also planning to promote their business through social media, so that they can attract more youth consumers. At the initial stage, they allocate more finance in advertising as they need to make people aware about the facilities they are providing. Distribution Strategy: The Daily Caf makes the arrangements for the mobile cafes in schools, different business houses and events every year as many as possible. The objective of formulating this strategy is to attract those consumers who are coming from different areas where the TDC may not available, but it may increase the demand among those consumers (Murthy, P., Madhava Naidu, M. and Srinivas, P,2009). Pricing strategy: The pricing strategy of the TDC is based on their sales forecast. The company will initially try to provide their product at a low cost so to gain a competitive advantage over its competitors. Their main focus will be selling more units at a low price. In order to ensure high sales, it can give free coupons to those consumers who have purchased a certain number of cups in a day or week (Mussatto, S., Machado, E., Martins, S. and Teixeira, J,2011). Apart from the above strategy the company can also try to implement some other strategies for boosting up sales like- Organizing corporate testing events- TDC plans to host the different testing event at the end of each quarter. When a new season comes then the business will try to adjust their product menu and flavors as per the consumers taste and preference. Strategic alliances- The Daily Caf will make strategic alliances with the manufactures of the drive through facilities and with the consumable product providers. The business will also consider schools, nonprofit organizations for strategic alliances since they provide them the benefit of more exposure and thus providing them financial benefit. It can be projected by the initial outline of the business plan that if all the conditions are favorable and the strategies can be properly implemented then it will not be very difficult for the business to continue their operation in the US market (Parthanadee, P. and Buddhakulsomsiri, J,2012). Answer: Introduction It has been found from several research studies that customer satisfaction is an essential element for the growth of the hospitality industry (Ahmed, 2011). Brand position, superior service quality and implementation of the new advanced technology are considered as central factors to enhance the customer loyalty and satisfaction and directly impact the total revenue of this industry. In regards to formulate strong bond with the customers the customer relationship management (CRM) department must be well maintained by the respective hotel (Ali, 2014). Research topic The researcher is adopting the research topic as the application of the CRM software in the hospitality industry in order to improve the customer satisfaction. The researcher has selected the Citi Club Hotel located in Melbourne Australia. The researcher will also examine the customer management relationship in the context of the chosen hotel. Research Aim and Objective The aim is to determine various factors related to the use of the CRM software in the hospitality industry. The objectives are as follows: Analysis of the business relationship of the Citi Club Hotel with their customers based on the CRM software The imperative factors required to hold the old customers and acquire new customers with the help of CRM techniques The analysis of the essential practices adopted by the selected hotel to enhance the profit Central Research Questions These questions are prepared based on the aim and objective related to the research topic. These questions would be answered at the end of the research work based on the research analysis and obtained outcomes. What are the major factors related to the CRM software which are of significance for the hospitality industry? How the hotel can hold their customers by relying on the Customer relationship management techniques? What are the crucial practices adopted by the City Club Hotel in order to enhance the profit based on the effective usage of CRM software? Background Study and Literature Review On the basis of the literature review, it has been observed that the efficient use of advanced CRM software in the hospitality industry will improve the relationship with the customers (Yadav and Singh, 2014). Most of the hotels have commenced to use CRM software in order to standardize and accumulate the key information of the customers into specified databases that provide an ease to the management to manage various contacts, mails and information of the visited customers (Kanchan and Sharma, 2015). Research Methodology and Techniques Research methodology includes selection of the suitable methods and techniques along with the research plan layout to conduct the research work. Based on the literature review data, the researcher has decided to collect both types of data i.e. primary data and secondary data from authentic sources. To analyse the collected data, both qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods will be adopted. Descriptive research design will be taken into consideration for conducting the research work. The collected and analysed data will be expressed in mathematical model by using SPSS (Flick, 2015). Research Process The initial process step is to understand the research topic and the relevant issues and opportunities of the research statement in a detailed manner. The imperative step is to commence the literature review and study the previous research studies related to the research questions. This would provide an estimate about the current research work as well as the research structure and layout of the research project plan. The outcome of the past research work will help the concerned researcher to compare the variation in the current research outcome with the previous outcomes (Hillier, 2006). After reviewing the literature, the next step is to formulate the suitable research model. The researcher has selected the mathematical research model in the given case. Research design is the crucial element for the research study as the total resource requirement for the research is dependent on the research design, which includes project cost, time and efforts. The collection of data and information is conducted based on the selected research design. Descriptive research design will be selected by the researcher (Hair et. al., 2015). Based on the research design, the concerned researcher will collect the data from the relevant data sources. Primary and secondary data will be collected by the researcher. Qualitative and quantitative types of data analysis methods will be taken into account to analyse the collected data (Eriksson and Kovalainen, 2015). The obtained results based on the analysis will be represented in the tabular form, charts and graphs and so on. Data Collection and Analysis The researcher has decided to collect both type of data and thus, for the primary data set of questionnaire will be formed on the basis of the research objective and research questions. Additionally, semi-structural interview sessions will also be conducted for a select group of target population from the selected hotel. The sample size is selected as 55, which comprises 30 visitors of the selected hotel, 20 employees of the hotel and rest 5 managerial level employees (Eriksson and Kovalainen, 2015). The questionnaire will be conducted either in online mode or in offline mode based on the availability of the targeted sample besides conducting interviews with some of the sample subjects for more clarity. The secondary data will be collected from website, eBooks, articles, journals, newspaper and the memorandum of the company along with the companys webpage (Hair et. al, 2015). Finally, the collected data will be analysed in detailed manner. The data and information collected from the primary and secondary data source would be assembled in well-defined pattern likely in the tabular form (Flick, 2015). The quantitative data resulted from the survey- questionnaire would be examined based on the decided number of variables and used to derive the mathematical forms expression and the qualitative data set will be analysed based on the thematic analysis method. After significant interpretations, the final best possible outcomes will be expressed in tables, graphs, ratios, percentage and charts in SPSS (Hillier, 2006). Expected Research Outcomes The researcher will able to examine the various aspects related to the implementation of CRM software on the hospitality industry. This will also provide a plethora of recommendation on the part of the customers and employees for the improvement of the business relationship with customers and subsequently, the profitability of the hotel. The City Club Hotel would be able to view the various obstacles and suggestions in regard to the existing practice in the Hotel along with the quality of the service provided by them to the customers. Some essential factors related to the customers preference and satisfaction would be highlighted in the current research outcomes, which will be evaluated in the future research work. I strongly believe that performance can be augmented while performing challenging task. For providing nursing care to these patients, understanding them is very important. I am sure, I can understand the very well for their wellbeing. Most of the nursing professionals dont wish to work in the mental health department due to its tough job profile. Hence, there is scarcity of nurses in this department. Hence, I have good opportunity to provide effective services and excel in my profession in this department. Nurses in the mental health department need to integrate medical, psychological and social interventions. Hence, there is ample scope for learning in the mental health department and working with diverse professionals. Interpretation of behaviour and feelings of these patients is required for providing effective nursing care to these patients. Skills strengths : Selection criteria 1 : Nursing intervention is based on four steps like assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation with respect to patients requirements. Assessment : While dressing wound of a child, I removed old dressing and I assessed and observed wound for slough and exudate. I evaluated patient for the level of redness, swelling, pain, infection and odour. I assessed medical history of the patient to know condition responsible for the presence of wound. Planning : I informed head nurse and medical officer about my observations. I went through hospital policy and manual for procedure for dressing wound. I discussed with diverse people to determine type and frequency of dressing which could be suitable for this woumd. All the gathered information gathered in the patients care plan. Implementation: I got informed consent from the patient and explained the procedure to patient and family members. Aseptic technique used to clean the wound and dressing was applied. After completion of the procedure, I ensured that patient is comfortable and updated wound care plan. I documented all the information in the patients records and prepared ISOBAR handover. It was helpful for the next shift staff to monitor for infection. Evaluation : Three days after wound care, I performed evaluation of wound for presence of slough and exudate. I completed the wound care by following the hospital policy and Aseptic non-touch technique (ANTT). I followed patient centred and holistic acre to the patient. I followed up the patient to assess presence or absence of infection. Selection criteria 2 : I assessed the patient admitted to the emergency department with complain of inefficient breathing. He was 60 years old patient with pneumonia, diabetes and hypertension. He was admitted to the emergency department in the unconscious state. He was admitted to the hospital at 6.00 hr. He was having insufficient breathing since last eight hours and he was unconscious for two hours. Since, few years he was taking medications for hypertension and diabetes. He was a non-smoker and he used to consume alcohol occasionally. I performed all his vital sign determinations and also performed Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS). His assessment included determination of respiratory rate, heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation level. Immediately after measuring these parameters, I put him on supplemental oxygen. Sputum of the patient, was submitted for the identification of the microorganism. In reported all the results obtained during the evaluation to the medical officer. Based on the reports obtained, clinical review was activated. Repeat measurement of these parameters were performed to recognise extent of deterioration in the patient. Repeat assessment demonstrated further deterioration of the patient. Meanwhile, rate of oxygen supplementation was increased. IV antibiotic also was administered after receiving sputum reports. Based on the reports obtained after repeat measurements of all these parameters, rapid response was activated. Clinical review and rapid response were activated because it helped in immediate recognition of deterioration, which helped in immediate action. After completion of the rapid response, assessment of vital signs of the patient were determined and again sputum samples were submitted for the analysis. It was evident that there was improvement in the vital signs specifically respiratory rate and oxygen saturation and level of infection was also lowered. There was also improvement in the GCS. Selection criteria 3: I experienced difficult situation while handling mentally ill patient in the psychiatric ward. I visited the ward at 8.00 hrs in the morning for regular visits. I was asking each patient to complete their morning daily activities. Suddenly, one old person started shouting at me and he was claiming I was keeping away his wife from him. In reality, his wife died two years ago. He was suffering through dementia. I was trying to calm him and giving him assurance that, nurses and medical professionals are not going to harm him. I was convincing him to complete his morning daily activities. Even though, it was challenging situation for me, I determined that I would handle this situation very professionally and I would not lose my patients. After, putting efforts for some time, I understood that it is not possible for me control this patient. Hence, I called senior nurse and took help of other elderly patients. I explained them the exact situation and with the help of all the people finally I could control the dementia patient. Even though, it was my limitation to control the dementia patient, I handled this situation very professionally without losing my calm. If I would have become agitated, situation would have become more complex. This dementia patient became calm with efforts of me, senior nurse and other elderly patients. Selection criteria 4: Effective communication is the integral part of the nursing profession. Nurse should communicate diverse group of people like patients, medical officers, pharmacist and social workers. I was administering potassium intravenous injection to the hypokalaemia patient. I explained the patient importance of administration of potassium injection. I informed patient that there would be little pain during the administration of injection. I communicated to RN and RMO also about the potassium injection. I followed all the procedures and hospital policy for intravenous administration. I started intravenous administration and patient experience pain during potassium injection. I consulted with RN and same was communicated to the RMO. After consultation with RMO, it was decided to resite the cannula in the patient. It was evident that there was no pain to the patient after completion of this procedure. All the aspects of this event were properly documented in the legible and concise manner. Hence, it would be helpful in the making aware all the staff members about the performed procedure. I communicated effectively with all the stakeholders to provide safe nursing intervention to the patient. Selection criteria 5 : I was in the emergency department and handling COPD patient. He was admitted to the hospital two days back and he was having COPD sine last five years. He was smoking since last twenty years. He was having breathing problem and his oxygen saturation level was low. My main aim was to provide him with supplemental oxygen and improve his breathing pattern. I also made him calm because he was stressed due to his medical condition. I followed all hospital policies and procedures for the administration of supplemental oxygen. I gone through patients all medical records and literature to decide upon dose and flow rate of supplemental oxygen because it was evident that low or high oxygen supplementation can adversely affect patient condition. I assessed oxygen saturation level in the patient and based on the level of oxygen saturation, I administered supplemental oxygen to the patient. I informed patient and family members about the procedure to administer supplemental oxygen. I made sure that patient is comfortable with the procedure. I documented all the information in the patient information file for future reference. After supplementation of oxygen for 8 hour, oxygen saturation level was again determined in the patient. Correlation was established between the amount of supplemental oxygen and changes in the oxygen saturation level. This correlation was documented and extrapolated to the literature values. I learned that documentation of patient related data and utilisation of this data for the future use can be helpful in improving outcome of nursing care. Selection criteria 6 : My previous workplace has clear and well-defined WHS policy. Though, one of my colleague was not following these policies and procedures. He was not following the correct procedure for IV administration. He was doing mistakes at two places. He was touching needle without safety gloves and he was discarding needle without taking any precaution. I observed this incidence and corrected him for the IV administration. My main purpose of this exercise was to administer intravenously to the patient in the safe manner. Also, every healthcare staff should be well aware of the safe intravenous administration. It helped in preventing spread of infection from one patient to other patient and also spread of infection from patient to medical staff. I aimed to give minimal pain and make feel comfortable to the patient. I was aiming to implement WHS policy of the institute accurately. I explained him accurate procedure for intravenous administration and demonstrated him procedure for it. Demonstration of procedure is important aspect in this case because following accurate procedure by reading standard operating procedures would not have been possible. Practical experience can improve the procedures to be followed in the clinical setting. I explained him importance maintaining aseptic condition while giving intravenous administration. I asked him to follow the standard operating procedure for intravenous administration. It resulted in the improvement in the intravenous administration by the staff member. He learned and he was following the accurate procedure for intravenous administration. Internet Marketing free essay sample This is perhaps the biggest threat gained from the internet as standardised products have become easier to compare throughout online intermediaries like kelkoo(Chaffney 2006) However business have to view it as an opportunity rather than a threat. (Chaffney 2006)states the bargaining power of its suppliers is reduced since there is a wider choice and increased commoditisation due to e-procurement and e-marketplace. Companies can demand that supplier uses ââ¬Å"Internet use of electronic data interchangeâ⬠(Strauss et al 2006), in order to increase supply chain sufficiency and reduce costs. Substitution is on the increase since digital products can be introduced faster making it a steady threat as consumers have broader choices online. The replacing of online channels mean existing services are now on the net, I. e. online banking. The barriers to entry have declined, enabling new competitors that have previously required a high street presence to trade online, along with foreign competitors. All these factors must be monitored to avoid deterioration of market share. Social Factors are one of the key trends effecting businesses, to date a vast majority of the population obtain access to the internet, however firms need to take into account when forecasting future demands that groups do not wish to have access and the shortage of demand for online services. Moreover firms need to think how to avoid social exclusion (Chaffney 2006) defined as social exclusion as part of society that is excluded from the facilities available to the remainder and so becomes isolated (Strauss, 2006) Digital inequality matters due to those without access and skills are loosing out on the benefits of the digital world and research shows a clear correlation between social and digital exclusion. Studies done to investigate this phenomenon reveal several paradoxical issues relating the presence of natural resources in a country.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on The Natural Resource Curse specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More For instance, countries that rely on natural resources for budgetary financing seem to have an inverse economic growth in relation to the percentage of the national budget financed using natural wealth. This paper looks at the issue of the natural resource curse with a view of uncovering why some countries suffer from it, while others do not. Natural resources refer to endowments in mineral wealth, or naturally occurring plant and animal life. Mineral wealth in this case refers to mined substances such as precious metals, gemstones, or oil wealth. Some of these resources occur near the surface of the earth. In thi s case, the resource may not require mining in the conventional sense. Timber is one of the most valuable natural resources extracted from naturally occurring forests. The worldwide demand for timber is growing mainly because of increasing control and restriction on logging by authorities concerned with the conservation of nature. To a certain extent, the presence of animals such as elephants and rhinos makes a country vulnerable to natural resource issues related to the ivory trade. However, the significance of animal related natural wealth is reducing because of greater enforcement of animal protection legislation. The natural resource curse refers to the paradoxical situation where countries endowed with natural resources tend to suffer from poor economic growth, war, and poverty, more than countries not endowed with these resources. This is counter intuitive because the presence of natural resources should mean the availability of finances to bankroll development projects in a c ountry. However, many countries that have vast amounts of natural resources tend to suffer from slow economic growth, resource wars, and disproportionate levels of corruption. Scholars present various reasons for this situation that range from corruption, to weak governance.Advertising Looking for essay on business economics? Let's see if we can help you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More Why Some Countries Suffer From the Natural Resource Curse There are many reasons why many countries suffer from the natural resource curse. This section examines the role of corruption, resource dependence, weak central governments, and the international business environment surrounding trade in natural resources. The nature of natural wealth is such that it is difficult to track the exact quantities produced and then delivered to markets. In addition, after the sale of the resources, it is difficult to track with accuracy the exact amount of money that eventually ends up in projects that are for the benefit of the country. Many times, governments do not control the actual mining or extraction operations of the natural resources in their territory. For instance, oil companies such as BP control mining operations in many territories around the world. This means that the governments cannot know with complete accuracy whether the quantities of oil mined by oil companies are the actual ones. It is also possible for a minister in charge of mining to collude with the company to defraud the country. Since the government trusts the minister to control and report on the operations of the company, the country ends up losing revenue. On the other end, after the mining companies extract and sell minerals in the international market, the money may not reach development projects in the country because of corruption within government. The second cause of the oil curse is resource dependence of countries endowed with natural resources. This especially affects oil-pr oducing nations. A good example is Nigeria where the country relies on oil and gas exports to fund more than eighty percent of its recurrent expenses. This overreliance on mineral wealth makes it difficult for the government to develop a sustainable tax base. Studies show that countries that do not have an effective tax net also tend to lack the capacity to address social issues in the country. Nigeriaââ¬â¢s reliance on its oil wealth is part of the causative factors of the social challenges espoused by the conflict in the Niger Delta. In addition, Nigeria is in no position to challenge the activities of oil companies when they fail to meet environmental stipulations simply because the government relies on these companies to generate its operating revenues.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on The Natural Resource Curse specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More This situation, compared to the America for instance is appall ing. America took strong action against BP after the Deep Water horizon oil spill. America does not rely on oil in the same terms as Nigeria. Therefore, it had the liberty to enforce its laws after the spill. Thirdly, weak governments amplify the negative effects of the resource curse. A weak government does not have the capacity to address the social ills in the country. This usually comes from ineffective planning, or inconsistent implementation. Any government that cannot guarantee the territorial integrity of the country, or does not have the power to manage social order, is weak. Countries with mineral wealth also tend to have rebel groups seeking to control mineral rich areas. For instance, rebellion in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) takes place around mineral centers. No government in the DRC has gained control over the entire territory of the country. The fact that natural resources tend to occur in one region makes the resource rich areas easy targets of armed group s since they are easy to seize and control. Finally, the resource curse is a product of tilted international trading terms. For instance, OECD countries encourage the importation of raw material such as crude oil, but it discourages the importation of processed products. Importing processed products to the OECD is difficult because of a raft of tariff and non-tariff barriers. The net effect is that any country that wants to sell its natural resources to the OECD countries cannot establish a strong local manufacturing sector. The result is that the country remains dependent on the export of natural resources, while it imports equipment and finished products from its natural resource export destinations. How Countries Avoid the Natural Resource Curse Despite the strong indication that natural resources tend to bring more problems for some countries that solutions, there are examples of countries that seem to have avoided the curse. In this section, we look at three factors that contri bute to avoiding the natural resource curse. These factors are the presence of a strong central government, diversified economies, and diversified markets. Saudi Arabia is one of the largest oil producers in the world. Oil accounts for about fifty percent of its national budget, and is responsible for about ninety percent of its export revenues. As such, Saudi Arabia should be suffering from the oil curse. This is not the case. The country has one of the most stable governments in the Middle East.Advertising Looking for essay on business economics? Let's see if we can help you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More It did not suffer during the Arab spring and it does not have any formidable rebel groups operating within its territory. Its only exposure is from terrorists who loath the presence of American bases in the country. This is an ideological issue, rather than a resource one. The case of Saudi Arabia shows that a strong central government can avert the resource curse. The ability of the government to maintain territorial integrity is a key part of the process of avoiding the natural resource curse. It is also instructive to note that Saudi Arabia is not a western democracy. Rather it is a monarchy. Its laws are some of the harshest in the world especially in regards to issues of social harmony. The point here is that avoiding the resource curse is not a question of the type of government in place. Rather it is a factor of how strong the government is in the management of the country. The second way in which countries can avert the natural resource curse is by diversifying their economi es. A good case in point is Dubai, which is part of the UAE. Dubai struck oil in the mid twentieth century. The rulers of the city-state soon recognized that while the oil wealth was a great resource for the country, reliance on oil was not sustainable. This led to the development of economic plans that sought to transfer the oil wealth to other sectors of the economy. The goal of this move was to diversify the economic base of the country. The result of this is that Dubai is now an international trade hub, known more for its free port that for its oil. Oil is still an important part of the economic mix of the country, but even if the oil sector collapsed, the country will still be operational. Apart from its famous free port, Dubai is becoming a financial capital, a tourism hub, and a transport hub. Emirates Airlines, which is currently one of the largest airlines in the world operates from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Apart from the diversification of the economic base of the c ountry, the UAE makes efforts to maintain social stability by ensuring all the citizens have access to quality education and healthcare. The third pillar in the effort to avoid the natural resource curse is diversifying the markets for the primary natural wealth. Diversifying the market for a countryââ¬â¢s natural wealth makes it possible for the country to develop other sectors of the economy, and to control the prices of the natural wealth. Instead of relying on exports to regions with many tariff and non-tariff barriers, it is better to develop new markets for finished products to create jobs locally. Kenya exports processed oil to its neighbors after importing crude from the Middle East. If Kenya had its own oil, then it would have the full benefits of oil extraction. In conclusion, the natural resource curse is not impossible to deal with. However, it takes strong leadership on the part of the country endowed with natural wealth to deal with the associated issues. In this se nse, the natural resource curse is really the product of bad leadership in the midst of abundance. You may find that you need to include the thesis as well as some supporting material as you construct your argument. The first part of the book which is named as the ââ¬Å"American Wayâ⬠focuses on discussing the history of Americaââ¬â¢s Fast Food industry. This part also gives background information about the major fast foods of the country like McDonalds, Burger King Etc, including information about their founders. The remaining part of the first part of the book discusses how most of the once family owned and small businesses have become famous worldwide and how they have become part of oneââ¬â¢s daily lives especially, Americans. The second part of the book discusses about the regulations that have been instituted by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and also provides various reports and information about the working conditions at meatpacking plants and the slaughter houses. The fifth chapter of the book speaks about the making of French fries, one of the most favorite and ordered snack at a fast food and especially about a person named J. R. Simplot. : The reasons for speaking about a specific individual is because, it was in his factory which was situated in Idaho that most of the frozen French fries are made and are shipped to most of the fast food restaurants all across the United States. The author deeply delves into the aspects of the color and taste that all the fast food items have. HE also reveals many interesting, astonishing and rather unknown facts like the taste, smell and color of the foods not being natural and how these aspects for the food are created by using chemicals and different additives. In the book, the author specifically speaks about the impact of fast food chains on the people of United States. The statistics presented by the author, approximately one-third of the adult population of the United States visits a fast food restaurant daily and on a weekly basis a typical American is said to be consuming three hamburgers and four French fry orders. The reason behind presenting the above statistics in this paper is to discuss the affects of consuming fast food on the human body. Despite the frequency of eating fast foods, the very immediate affect that it could have on an individualââ¬â¢s health is sickness. This is evident from the fact that the author has presented in the book which states that approximately 2,000,000 people of the United States fall sick due to diseases caused by food they consume and almost 900 people are hospitalized on a daily basis. Though the reasons behind the diseases are many, one main cause may be stated as the way the food is produced. After this, the author starts giving information about the evolution of slaughter houses, the working conditions there etc. According to the book and the authorââ¬â¢s arguments, there are a very few fast food restaurants which give value to their manpower and pay them good wages. Two good examples of such fair fast food restaurants are Conwayââ¬â¢s Red Top and In-N-Out. Both these restaurants have their own style of becoming known in the fast food industry. Though these two restaurants are not as popular as McDonalds and Burger King, they serve high quality food and deliver better value and customer service. Today, the meat production in the United States of America has become very centralized due to the decrease in the small farmers which in turn has reduced the number of producers of meat. The toxins in the meat production plant are the root cause for the widespread of diseases. A nationwide study published by the USDA in 1996 found that 7. 5 percent of the ground beef samples taken at processing plants were contaminated with Salmonella, 11. 7 percent with Listeria monocytogenes, 30 percent with Staphylococcus aureus, and 53. 3 percent with Clostridium perfringens. All of these pathogens can make people sick (Teh World Traveller) (Michael Shugrue) (Sinclair). The book takes the readersââ¬â¢ through a journey which explains about todayââ¬â¢s shocking and extremely corrupt fast food industry. The various truths and happenings in the industry which were gathered through personal interviews, investigations etc were presented in order to reveal what exactly happens behind the scenes of the fast food chains. One example is the reality of brutal treatment of workers and abuse of the same workers at the meat packing plants. Many female workers in the meat making plants are sexually harassed not only by co-workers but also by superiors. This clearly states how dangerous the industry for female employment is. A well-known fact is that the target audiences of the fast food industry are none other than children. The kids are easily influenced by the eye-catching, heavy and attractive advertisements along with the interesting promotional techniques which the fast food chains use. Market statistics reveal that children are more inclined towards a brand name or logo than on their own name. As already stated, many people today have become more inclined towards fast food not only because of the ease and convenience but also because of the taste of the food. Now the question that arises here is, the reasons for fast foods being so tasty. The author of the book has also explored this angle and has presented the tricks and techniques used by the fast food industry players to make the food extremely tasty. Basically, the aroma of the food is solely responsible for the flavor of the food. In order for the foods to be aromatic, it is not necessary that they need to be truly naturally. Todayââ¬â¢s scientific advancements have led to the creation of various chemicals which help to secure the aroma of foods artificially too. This can be understood from the following facts which the author has quoted in the book ââ¬â ââ¬Å"Adding methyl-2-peridylketone makes something taste like popcorn. Adding ethyl-3-hydroxybutanoate makes it taste like marshmallow. The possibilities are now almost limitless. â⬠Next important aspect is the role of the foodââ¬â¢s colour. The fast food chains use a material called Titanium oxide which is actually used in the making of womenââ¬â¢s cosmetics in order to give a creamy white colour to many of the processed candies and icings. Most of the fast food chains are using colouring agents in many of their soft drinks, cookies and sandwich buns in order to attract more customers. What does all this mean? By using coloring agents and chemicals to present the food in an attractive way, the fast food chains are trying to attract more number of customers to their outlets. More number of customers means more money. But ultimately, one important fact that needs to be understood is that customers who spend their hard earned money in the fast food outlets are actually falling prey to many toxic diseases. To be clear, for the various harmful activities done by the fast food chains, the common man is falling prey after spending his or her hard earned money. However, this fact is not known to most of the people who are used to eating fast foods. In one part of the book the author quotes that ââ¬Å"Flavor compounds sometimes contain more ingredients than the foods being given their taste. â⬠It is actually very strange for people to realize the facts while enjoying a snack at any fast food that they instead of enjoying the natural product which is used in the preparation of the product are enjoying an ingredient which has been artificially prepared. The fact that some chemical is used in order to manipulate the originality of taste itself is very shocking and of course obviously new to discover. It is indeed very difficult to accept and digest the fact that todayââ¬â¢s era has so changed that even foods that are consumed are altered and made lose their originality by using chemicals etc. The book realizes many astonishing and unknown facts which many of the fast food goers do not realize. Most of the people who are used to fast foods restaurants would not have any idea about the working conditions at the meat packing plants and slaughter houses. The author presents some very surprising and rather pathetic facts of the inhuman working conditions about the workers at those places. Even this information is absolutely new to many people. The meat packing plants and slaughter houses are known as dangerous work places but not as risky places for somebody to work. The working situation of the workers working at the meat packing plant is so pathetic and dangerous that the workers are forced to wear hard hats and also carry heavy chain mails underneath their waist coats. The jobs of people at the slaughterhouses are even more pathetic. All the workers, irrespective of their sex, are made to stand with their clothes stripped off and made to do their jobs of ripping the innards of the cattle etc. All the workers here are at serious risk of losing their lives anytime while they are on the job and despite such ruthless working conditions, the money that they get paid is very minimal. One interesting fact that can be discovered in this book is that most of the jobs at the slaughter houses are carried out by hand. With technology taking its toll on todayââ¬â¢s modern society, it is unbelievable that such ruthless tasks are still carried out by hand instead of using machines which can do the work faster. The author of the book ââ¬â Eric Schlosser makes it quite evident that the ââ¬Å"most important tool in a modern slaughterhouse is a sharp knife. â⬠ââ¬Å"Working in a slaughterhouse is probably one of the most dangerous jobs in the country, and yet it seems to be one of the not much advanced technologically. It seems that machines would speed up the process at a meatpacking plant, therefore producing much more ground beef. Surprisingly, one of the most mechanical machines in a slaughterhouse is a conveyor belt (Barganini). â⬠Many workers get injured when working on this particular belt as the belt moves so fast that the belt slaughters almost 400 cattle per hours as opposed to the initial days of slaughtering 50 cattle per hour. Above all this, the most shocking fact is that the administration of the slaughter houses does not report many such injuries. ââ¬Å"Their employees are hurt, and instead of sending them to the hospital, they send them to one of their own doctors who tell them that are uninjured and able to work. The point even more shocking than this is that the federal government fails to improve these working conditions. It seems almost discriminatory (Barganini). â⬠Overall, the book provides a lot of information about the fast food industry and the issues which happen behind the scenes and which are unknown. Despite having some weaknesses in it, the strengths of the book are much higher. The author of the book makes it very clear that the people of the United States are more passionate towards eating fast food and the industry in itself and in this attempt he wrote a book that explains the fact more clearly. The entire book focuses on trying to explain the fascination that todayââ¬â¢s people have got towards the fast food industry which has over a period transformed the culture of the United States. The book reveals certain strong facts like the ones ââ¬Å"The Golden Arches are now more widely recognized than the Christian cross. â⬠These kind of strong facts are the ones which make the book a good resource to know about the fast food industry. Though many people fail to realize the fact that fast foods have become a major part of their daily life, it is very true. It is actually impossible to not find a fast food when driving down a busy road in any part of the country. The author has very interestingly portrayed the history and evolution of most of the famous fast food chains focusing on the founders like Carl Karcher, Richard and ââ¬ËMacââ¬â¢ of the McDonalds. Though the details about these men are relevant to the point of discussion of the book, the author spends a quiet too long time discussing about the above mentioned people. Apart from this, the author also mentions few other people who have been founders of fast food chains and who have similar background. One interesting and similar fact about all these men is that all of them come from a very poor family and have consistently grown up in their life through their commitment and hard work in order to hold higher positions. One of the major strength of the book ââ¬Å"The Fast Food Nationsâ⬠is the authorââ¬â¢s ability to relate the book to the people who read it and imbibe it into the society. The author also throws light on issues such as the Federal Governmentââ¬â¢s involvement in the working conditions in the meat packing plants and the slaughter houses. The author has been successful in clubbing the facts of the past, the happening in the present and the possible future of the fast food industry into one single book. The epilogue of the book focuses on the very few fast food chains which still have great value to their employees and also their customers. ââ¬Å"The fast food industry resulted from a culmination of social and economic trends. After reading the phenomena that has taken hold of our country, one must wonder what the future will bring (Barganini). â⬠After reading the book, one fact that needs to be accepted is that the fast food industry has literally taken hold and is riding the lives of many people today without their own knowledge even. Many people who are used to fast foods do not realize the harm that those food cause to their health. As the industry developed, the percentage of obesity too developed in the same pace. Apart from heart attacks and problems of obesity, many new health problems have also cropped up. Though the lifestyle promoted by these fast foods is really fast and new, yet they are equally harmful. In conclusion, it can be said that fast food chains today are profiting at the cost of the health of its customers. Eating fast foods results in obesity and this obesity has become a common problem to everybody. Actually, study reveals that the annual cost of obesity is twice the total revenues of the fast food industry. By revealing so many useful and important facts like the ones presented in the above paragraphs and many more similar facts, the author Eric Schlosser tries and brings to light the alarming truth of todayââ¬â¢s fast food industry. ? Under the proposed legislation, the US would place even tougher international restrictions on Iranian oil exports if it fails to agree a final nuclear deal over the next six months. Says the reader, In both, agree is used without a preposition following it. To my Canadian ears, this sounds odd. Is this a chiefly British use or did I simply miss that grammar class? When must one use a preposition with agree and when is it best avoided? Until this reader pointed it out, Iââ¬â¢d never noticed this usage. A cursory web search leads me to believe that it is an aberration of British English and may be creeping into American usage by way of journalists who cover European news for the international market. I found this naked agree in respected British publications: Blackberry and Foxconn agree a five-year deal BBC News Business Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could agree a new three-year contract as early as this week as Stan Kroenke jets in to London The Independent Belfast pub bosses quit over a failure to agree lease Belfast Telegraph I found the usage on a British banking site: Agreeing a formal overdraft is fee free and keeping within your limit is a cost-effective way to manage your account. Agree your overdraft limit in advance. It occurs in a headline about U.S. affairs at an international news site: Democrat and Republican negotiators agree a new spending bill to put before Congress Euronews And it occurs at Forbes.com in a headline over an article written by a European correspondent: Time For ECB To Agree A New Plan Forà Cyprus It has even found its way into the OED in a quotation from 2007: This does not stop retrials being ordered where the jury has failed to agree a verdict. C. Elliott F. Quinn Eng. Legal Syst. (ed. 8) iv. xxiv. 549. I find this usage not only odd, but extremely disagreeable. For me, agree is an intransitive verb. It does not take an object. A jury agrees on a verdict. Friends agree with each other. Countries agree to a plan. So far, the transitive usage that has countries ââ¬Å"agree plansâ⬠and bank customers ââ¬Å"agree overdraft limitsâ⬠is distinctly British usage. May it remain so. The source achieves these objectives by providing the information Dr. Hanson has collected from studies over the past forty years. The sections are arranged in a format familiar to young people. Question and answer sessions that are devoid of preaching but flush with scientific fact are easily accessed. Dr. David Hanson has published over 300 scholarly articles on issues related to alcohol consumption over the past forty years. He has written two full length books and appeared on numerous television and radio programs as a recognized expert. He is currently Professor Emeritus at the State University of New York at Potsdam. He clearly states in his biographical information that he receives absolutely no funding for his research from outside sources, so he is beholden to no one. He states that he publishes what logic dictates regardless of who it may offend. This source for information on alcohol consumption is decidedly left of center. The author spends much time debunking myths about alcohol consumption that seem to be near and dear to the heart of right wing discourse concerning alcohol consumption. Most notably, the author makes a strong case for parents to consume alcohol with their children within the home. This is a radical notion in the United States, where a prohibition of alcohol consumption for anyone under the age of 21 is in effect. While more common in Europe, American families rarely drink together until the children are of a legal age to do so. Another segment of the web site that is decidedly left-leaning is the suggestions the author makes concerning the deterrence of drunk driving. The author argues that proactive initiatives such as Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) courts are especially helpful because their outcomes Darcie Chiuhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08431136277478066762noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-220081857566653514.post-90860260747787969682020-02-28T21:06:00.001-08:002020-02-28T21:06:02.591-08:00Economics Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words - 30Economics - Essay Example were considered ââ¬Å"too-large-to-failâ⬠(reference?)because of the substantial public interest involved in their continued operation, and thus it was generally taken for granted that government will bail them out.
